About TapBPM Hub

TapBPM Hub is a collection of focused browser tools for musicians, DJs, dancers, runners, video editors, and anyone who works with tempo. The site combines a tap tempo counter, metronome, rhythm trainer, tempo converter, and BPM-synced delay calculator in one place.

Why the site exists

Tempo tasks are often small but interrupt a larger workflow: identifying the speed of a sample, converting a beat into milliseconds, or checking whether a performance stays close to a click. We designed each tool to open quickly, work without an account, and expose the calculation instead of hiding it behind a result.

How the calculations work

The tap tempo calculator measures the time between your recent taps and averages valid intervals. The delay calculator starts with 60,000 ÷ BPM to find milliseconds per quarter note, then applies standard note-value, dotted-note, and triplet ratios. The converter uses the same tempo as a common base for BPM, beats per second, beats per hour, hertz, seconds, milliseconds, and video frames.

Manual tapping always includes human variation, so results become more stable when you tap for several bars. Live recordings may also drift naturally. Our guides explain how to recognize those cases and verify a number before using it in a project.
